Membership
privacy
The EOS is
committed to ensuring the privacy and
confidentiality required by its members.
Given
the general public’s possible reaction to
those who live the BDSM life, members are
free to use a pseudonym at meetings as well
as in Society records and correspondence.
However,
for the safety of everyone, your membership
application must include your real name and
contact information. This information is
only known to the Membership Director and
the President of the Board. Once you leave
the EOS, your private information is
destroyed
Membership
info
Adults of all
ages are EOS members: males and females,
singles and couples, as well as people of
different sexual orientations. The
prevailing philosophy is tolerance toward
individual orientations, preferences, and
tastes. Membership is open to adults of good
character with a genuine and personal
interest in Erotic BDSM.
Here is
how we suggest you approach membership. Come
to a couple of
munches
and meet us. We try to be attentive to
newcomers but it is also your responsibility
to make the rounds and introduce yourself.
During one of these initial visits to a
munch, someone from the
Executive
will give you an orientation to the EOS.
This might be a group orientation if there
are other newcomers attending that day. We
figure by your third visit or so you should
be ready to commit one way or another. If
you choose to join you will be interviewed
with by Executive members. If you are a BDSM
couple, each of you will be interviewed
separately. We provide interviews this way
to ensure that each individual who wishes to
become a member has the opportunity to ask
questions, speak of concerns, discuss mutual
expectations, the programming and activities
of EOS, and to help to increase “comfort”
levels.
You must
be at least 18 years old to be a member. A
reasonable, affordable annual fee is
required.
In order to
become a member, you must provide the EOS
executive with your full name and contact
information and present a picture i.d. for
verification. This information is maintained
on a membership list that is available ONLY
to the
Membership Director,
the President, and the Vice-President. If
and when your membership expires or you give
up your membership, your information will be
deleted from the membership list.

EOS orientation
Prospective
new members orientation will be held at 3:30 p.m. during
the Sunday munches and at 7:30 pm during the
Wednesday munches. Please contact the
Membership Director prior to these times to
arrange to attend. |
